Preffered Tubes Ltd is constantly looking at new and innovative ways in which we can provide better and more wide ranging services to our existing customers, and enter into new industries and markets.

To this end we have invested in the latest state of the art tube laser system - the 'Trumpf Tubematic' This 3.2kw three dimensional laser will handle tubes of 6.5mm wall up 150mm OD and any shape with the same cross section, in mild steel, stainless or aluminium.

We are highly skilled and no job is too complex, we can convert your dxf files and work closely with your design department. We believe new designs coupled with the latest processing

technology, are the only antidote to imports from the east and that is why we have invested.

What are the advantages, well we have been very successful in creating corner folds and connecting cross rails - which have meant much quicker through put, vastly reduced welds and consequently a lot less fettling or grinding off - which as well as being faster has an environmental benefit too.

Our skill on this machine is unsurpassed and we will be able to quote you very quickly indeed on any new job. So please don't be burning out your drills on rock hard structural hollow sections - let our laser cut those holes out or do that fancy angle cut at the end!
